Homelessness Marathon on the web and radio tonight

February 23, 2009 By Brad Linder Leave a Comment

A little while back I learned about a radio project called the Homelessness Marathon. The idea is to broadcast a series of stories from around the US to highlight issus concerning homelessness. The 14 hour broadcast begins tonight at 7:00PM EST and will broadcast on a number of non-commercial radio stations.

You can find out whether your local station is participating by visiting the project page. If not, you can listen online. A story on affordable housing I reported for NPR’s Justice Talking in 2007 will be part of the broadcast. I believe it’s scheduled to run at around 10:00PM tonight.
