2 more Joost invites to give away

April 26, 2007 By Brad Linder 8 Comments

I’ve got two more Joost invites to give away.

Joost is the new internet television platform by the makers of Skype and Kazaa. While there’s still not a ton of content available for Joost, the company has been signing up major partners like Viacom in recent months. Currently you can catch some B-list Comedy Central and MTV programs like Laguna Beach and Stella.

But that’s not the point. The point is just as Skype dramatically changed the way that people think about internet telephony, Joost is changing the notion of internet television. It’s not a tiny box on a big window. It’s a full screen application with intuitive tools for changing “channels,” and selecting content. But it’s not live like old fashioned TV. It’s more comparable with video on demand.

Anyway, here’s how to enter the contest:

Leave a message in the comments section of this post with your email address in something-at-something-dot-com format. No need to post your information in such a way that the spambots can find you.

If you want to double your chances of winning, write a post on your blog linking to this post or to any other post on my blog, and post a link to that blog entry in the comments section here. I’ll enter your name in the drawing twice.

The contest ends at midnight on Wednesday May 1st. All entries must be received by then. I’ll randomly select two winners on Thursday.

Anyway, if Brad Linder, u would not be able to give me one, could harry the horse, anonymous, or alex do so by sending it to me niha_nsi[at]yahoo[dot]com

An invite would come in REALLY handy right now for a person going to China for two months who does NOT speak Chinese.

Hi Brad, just found your blog…love it. Okay, that wasn’t a schmooz comment so I could get the invite. I am a freelancer also and relate to many of your articles. (I also want to get one those helicopters for my cat!)

So if you get extra invites I’d love to see what joost is all about.
    Thanks!
